All of our pumpkin board books officially hit the bookshelves of our home this weekend. EK has two little floating white shelves in her bedroom for seasonal books and I look forward to switching out the books every few weeks! It must be a teacher thing. Here are the books we will be reading this month while we wait for cooler temperatures!
All of these books are baby and teacher approved and we really do have each of them on our home bookshelf. This post may contain affiliate links.
Five Little Pumpkins: This one is so catchy and reads like a little rhyme! I have the whole thing memorized and "sing" it to EK constantly.
The Itsy Bitsy Pumpkin: This is a precious little book that can be read to the tune of "The Itsy Bitsy Spider." If you love this book, you'll also like this one for Christmas or this one for Thanksgiving!
Where is Baby's Pumpkin?: I absolutely love all of the Karen Katz books! Your baby will love lifting the flaps and looking for the pumpkin!
You are my Pumpkin: I can't even tell you how many times I have read this little book! It's super short and a perfect read before a nap! Joyce Wan books are a staple in our home library!
You're My Little Pumpkin Pie: This book is a tear jerker to me! It's just an absolutely precious book to let your little pumpkin know how loved they are. I already purchased the Christmas one too!
Where's the Pumpkin?: really like this book because it has a small story line and introduces some great vocabulary! Spooky is looking for a pumpkin and his friends describe pumpkins to him as he looks for a pumpkin! It can still can be read in under 3 minutes too which is key for a baby's attention span!
I Love You, Little Pumpkin: Another super sweet book to read to your little pumpkin!
Duck and Goose Find a Pumpkin: This is another great book with a story line that little ones can follow! Duck and Goose are on the hunt for a pumpkin!
Here are a few other fun Halloween books that are baby approved and not scary! : )
Who Goes Boo?: I actually came across this book at Home Goods a few days ago and had to have it! It has super thick foam pages that EK loves to chew on and It's fun to read with all of the different sounds! It ends with a giant BOOOOO that makes EK giggle every time!
BOO: Leslie Patricelli has quickly become one of my favorite authors. All of her books are incredible and really depict and give language to the different events that babies experience. I NEED THEM ALL. This is a cute book about baby's Halloween.
Peek-A-Booo: This book has a little mirror and fun felt cover that your baby will love to play with! It will get baby thinking about their Halloween costume!
Christmas will be here before we know it too! Plan a special book countdown for your little one! Read all about it HERE.
