Christmas Home Tour

Happy Christmas Break! *Insert happy dance here!* I hope you are giving yourself a much needed and deserved break! In the spirit of taking some time off, I have a non-teaching related post for you! I absolutely love Christmas time and I look forward to decorating my home for the holidays each year. So today I thought it would be fun to give you a little Christmas Tour of my home! So grab some hot chocolate, or some eggnog (perhaps spiked), and stay as long as you like! : )

My biggest Christmas tree is in the entryway, but can be seen from the den, kitchen and dining room! It has taken me years to collect everything on it! It is mostly red, green and white. I especially love the elf legs!  The ornaments, florals and ribbon have come from a million different places!

Of course, matching wrapping paper is a must! : ) I love the Brother Sister Design Studio brand from Hobby Lobby. It's nice and thick!

I love how my fireplace turned out this year! I used a simple lighted garland and just added some burlap ribbon. On the lefthand side I have a Christmas card holder from World Market. The stockings came from Viv and Lou. The other accessories came from Target, Home Goods, Paul Michaels and boutiques!

This sign is my favorite!

At the end of every year, I put together a book of all of the holiday cards we received. I just hole punch each card, create a cover and assemble with binder rings. I put the books in this small wooden crate (I found at an antique store) on the coffee table. I love displaying them and guests always enjoy looking through them too.

I also have a thing for vintage Christmas balls! I have them all over my house! This galvanized tray is full of vintage Christmas balls, Mercury glass ornaments, pinecones and decorative moss balls. I found most of these items at various boutiques, but I love these boxwood balls too.

The tiered tray on my kitchen island is styled the same too! I'm on the hunt for some bigger items too! This tray came from Sam's Club a few years ago, but I love this one too!

In the kitchen I also have my Coton Colors cookie jar.  I love how easy it is to change for each holiday! Their is a big piece of velcro on the front and you just buy the different attachments to swap out anytime! It makes a great gift too!

I also have a small six foot tree in my kitchen that is dedicated to my little loves, Luke and Lexi.

It's normal to have a Christmas tree just for your dogs, right?

It's decorated with red, green, white, and silver! I love finding bones, fire hydrants and dog ornaments to go on it! It also has lots of little picture frame ornaments with pictures of my dogs!

My dining room is decorated a little more traditionally with silvers and golds!

Believe it or not, my china cabinet was a Craigslist find! I just put my hubby to work with some chalk paint and added mercury glass knobs. This garland came from Paul Michael Company! Most of the accessories inside the cabinet came from Hobby Lobby (2016) and I just added tons of vintage Christmas balls.

I love how this Christmas tree turned out! It's a seven and a half foot tree that just fits perfectly in the corner!

I scored these reindeer plates on sale the day after Christmas last year at Paul Michael's Company. In fact, 90% of my Christmas decor has come from day after Christmas sales! It's my favorite shopping day of the entire year! I will be

The final stop is the guest bedroom. I love this flocked white tree from Tree Classics! It is so full and really doesn't need a ton of decorations! I love using fun, girly colors on this tree!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Merry Christmas and enjoy every second of your holiday break!
